Fmoviesz, FMovies24 and FMovies.to: are they real?
The new FMovies sites aren't the original. Here's how to recognize a clone, and what to use instead.
By the FFMovies editorial team · Updated October 14, 2026
Search for FMovies today and you will find dozens of sites with names like fmoviesz, fmovies24 or fmovies.to. They copy the old poster grid and logo so they look familiar. None of them are the original, because the original no longer exists.

Why FMovies clones keep appearing
The FMovies name still gets a huge amount of search traffic. Clone operators register lookalike domains, fill them with streams scraped from other pirate hosts, and earn money from pop-under ads and redirects. When a domain gets blocked, they register a new one, which is why the list of "new FMovies sites" keeps changing.
Warning signs on a clone site
- A new tab opens every time you click Play.
- A prompt says your video player is out of date or asks you to install an extension.
- A "verify you are human" page asks you to allow notifications.
- A download button leads to a .exe, .dmg or .apk file instead of a video.
If you clicked any of these, close the tab, remove unfamiliar browser extensions, and turn off notification permissions for the site in your browser settings.

Is fmoviesz the real FMovies?
No. The original FMovies team was arrested in August 2024. Fmoviesz and similar names are run by unrelated operators.
Is fmovies24 safe?
Clone sites are unlicensed and depend on aggressive advertising. Security scanners and users regularly report pop-ups, redirects and fake download prompts on them.
Is ffmovies.net FMovies?
No. FFMovies (ffmovies.net) is an independent where-to-watch guide. It does not host or stream video, and it is not connected to the original FMovies or its clones.
Is there an official FMovies app or APK?
No. There has never been an official app in the App Store or Google Play. APK files offered under the FMovies name come from unknown sources and are a common way to install malware.
