About Insidious: Out of the Further
The sixth Insidious film introduces Gemma, a young woman who discovers she can carry things between the living world and the Further, the franchise's realm of lost spirits. A cult leader wants to use that gift to bring the dead back, and Lin Shaye's Elise Rainier returns to the series.
Is it worth watching?
It opens a new storyline, so newcomers can start here, while longtime fans get the return of Elise. Expect the series' trademark slow-burn hauntings rather than nonstop gore.
